I worked the first row of entrelac triangles over 8 sts each, and jumped into the fun (forgetting that I had intended to go up a needle size for the body of the hat, then deciding, “What the heck?! It looks like this will work!”), entrelac in the round! So far, I like it! Not sure how many layers of entrelac before I start the shaping, but I am loving how this subtle ombre yarn is working up in the 8-stitch sections!

I worked 3 full entrelac sections before I started the shaping…I think this will be a slouchy hat!
