I am casting on a second hat Sep. 27th…I need something mindless while I am on hold at work…lol! And it’s done…yay!

Sooo, Sweetie and I have both lost significant weight. We are both cold. Now that fall is here, and Sweetie’s hair is currently not, his head is often very cold, so I am knitting a little hat (or two!) for his cold head.

Not sure how much yarn it will take, I have 100 grams (in the end, the hat took less than 50) of this color, and I’m just going to take notes here to keep track of the “pattern” that really is not…

Cast on 144 sts. K2, P2 for about an inch. Increase evenly to 152 sts.

Knit plain until the hat is 6 inches long (68 rows).

For crown, work 4 sets of double decreases, evenly spaced, every other row. Decrease to 32 sts, then decrease every row to 16 sts, and cut yarn…draw tail through loops and knot securely.

I think he likes it!
