Creating covers for the boxes that hold the ashes of my husband’s brother and sister, both murdered on Feb. 5, 2016. My nephews tell me their mom loved the colors purple and yellow, and that she liked roses and birds. My mother-in-law asked me to use “Cleveland Browns colors” (our local home team) for his brother. A request from a grieving mother, in an attempt to pretty them up before they are interred.

I’ve purchased new yarns, and some ribbon and flowers. I’ll keep this up to date. This is my record.
