Chain 125. Rows 1-4 as written.
Row 5: 3fpdc, dc in next dc
Row 6: Row 4 as written.
Repeat rows 3-6 for body of afghan.

Next time I do this, I will do more stitches for a bigger blanket, but I really like the “squishy-ness” of the worsted yarn on the K-hook…so I’d probably always want a bigger-than-called-for hook for this pattern.

For a baby blanket, I’d rather go down to a DK or fingering yarn with a hook 3-4 sizes bigger, rather than just decreasing the stitch count. The front texture reminds me of thermal underwear…it’s very nice.
