So, DD wants mitts like DIL’s from last winter, but I can’t make them exactly the same…and this is the pattern I’ve chosen for my Dollface!

The cast on seems like A LOT of stitches, so I am going with a 1.5 needle on the ribbing (64sts), then moving to a size 2 ndl for the colorwork (inc to 66sts on row 1 of colorwork).

I hope they fit…and they do!. :)

Mods/Notes:
First row of chart - I am using CC, rather than MC…it gives the finish a “scalloped” look, which I am also repeating at the top of the mitts (it’s not charted at all in the pattern).

8 rows of ribbing at the top of hand.

Thumb, picked up 26 sts total, 11+2+10+3.
5 rnds plain, 7 rnds rib (dec 2sts on 1st rnd), bind off.

The repeat on the Chroma is so long that the color is totally different on the mitts…lol! I’m pretty sure I have enough to make a whole second pair, so I may try to do that and see if the purples match any better. Either way, even with the color difference, this pair is pretty…and very wearable. :)
