Making the beard from this pattern to put on a Viking Hat for the boyfriend :)

Used the Assyrian Beard as a sort of…“Face cozy”, then used 4 strands of yarn to loop through throughout the beard to give it a realistic beard look. It was looking a little bit like a Jesus beard, so I threw a couple braids on, and now he’s (clearly) ready to become a viking! I’m really happy how this turned out, and the Assyrian beard pattern was really easy to follow, and worked very nicely for what I wanted to do.
