not in love with the pattern - for my feet, fit is not perfect. No beginner’s pattern!

April 6, 2011: cast-on with #2 Needles, because the pattern asks for 64 st. Usually I use #2,5 needles for 60 st. Alas, it’s a tight fit - I could have used the larger needles after all. These will be short socks…

April 8, 2011: Quick knit, despite all those purl stitches. Budged some of the diamonds - helps if one can count I guess. Won’t rip back, it’s only for me and myself, and we won’t mind that much. Or will we?
