cast-on - after try and error - 96 stitches

mods:
* added 2 rows of moss stitch to
“headband” = 4 rows of moss stitch below and above bobbles
* marked “segments” of helmet with twisted
slipped stitches every 16 stitches and
* decreased with double centered decrease above that line
made larger wings by casting-on 20 stitches
lengthened wing-tip by casting of last four stitches after 4 rows instead of two

Dec 2, 2012: now, really have to rip out all that nasty yellow acrylic and buy a decent yarn to do do it again.

got the same yarn as the grey (Lana Grossa Merino Extrafine) in a soft yellow shade, doubled it and knit with Nr 5 needles - perfect.

After blocking I think those wings have to be attached with longer seam so that they don’t flap
73 g = 48g yellow and 25g grey
