Notes

This sweater was a quick and easy knit (my timeline is off because I was doing another test at the same time). I realized a while back that I had no neutral sweaters, so this is a nice, simple design for that and I’ll be able to wear it with almost anything. The lattice stitch in the contrast bands adds nice interest without getting too crazy.

Mods (designer approved):

  • Added an inch to sleeves for my monkey arms
  • moved the second contrast band. My intention was to have it match the sleeves. Unfortunately, I ran out of MC yarn about 2 inches before that and decided to just forge ahead anyway.

After blocking, the sweater really grew, lengthwise, so I guess I didn’t need to add the extra sleeve length! Oh well--I love a long sleeve I can pull over my perpetually cold hands.
