Testing this cozy sweater for Alicia.

After steam blocking and wearing, it seems my row gauge was maybe slightly off. I thought after blocking the yellow band would sit below my bust, but mostly it does not. Should’ve knit a few more inches of the grey! Oh well. It’s still super cozy and I like the fit otherwise. I am wearing this with about 1” of negative ease.

Yarn is awesome, as always. The silk content adds a subtle sheen that really makes the colors pop in person. I was nervous about doing a whole sweater in lace weight, but this knit up really fast at the looser gauge.

5.26.2014: And done!

5.23.2014: Finally attached CC2! About halfway through hip increases.

5.20.2014: second sleeve done.

5.18.2014: first sleeve done. Didn’t actually take me 4 days to knit this--just didn’t have much time for knitting over the weekend.

5.14.14: finished waist decreases. Will now put body on hold and work sleeves.

5.11.14: finished raglan increases, set aside sleeve stitches, attached CC1. Yay!

5.7.2014: got gauge with size 5 needles and steam blocking. Decided order of colors will be fog, honeycomb, guava.

4.29.2014: yarn ordered. Can’t wait to get started!
