It was a spontaneous and fast project. It took many hours to complete, but those hours were squeezed basically in one day, with some preparation before and finishing after.
It was such a perfect day for picture taking, unbelievably warm for the end of September!
I am so pleased with the result! I bought this yarn quite a while ago. I wanted to try it and see the colours, so I usually buy one ball of each colour to see them in person (on-line shopping pitfalls), but with a project in mind. Moreover, I like multicoloured garments for children, they are so versatile because of so many options of mixing them with other single coloured items. That little quantity was OK for a small project, as I planned to make a vest for Sabrina. I used a little bit under a ball of each colour, and a little bit over one ball of natural colour (I would happily substitute this colour for pink, but I had to use what I had). The design itself wasn’t planned. Though, several things I had clear in mind - it had to be something quick, simple (easy to make), interesting, with minimal finishing work, and comfortable to wear. It had to be light and warm, but I didn’t have to work on it, these qualities was already built in the yarn.
I have to say, the yarn is not the same quality in each colour. My favourite are Lotus Blossom and Sapphire, for they have higher volume.
Sometimes I have a trouble giving a name for the project. Sabrina helped!
