Notes

I adore this yarn, and the colour is ravishing. Pattern is well written, easy to follow, and very easy to get into.

Instead of 4 rows garter, I did 4 rows seed stitch; repeated at the end. I also slipped the first stitch (wyif) of each row to create a nice clean selvedge edge.

Did 15 pattern repeats and ended up having enough yarn that I likely could have squeaked out one more repeat… I was just a bit chicken so stopped to be safe.

Top photo is actual colour; the other photos are not showing accurate colour at all.

It’s really lovely - gorgeous. Definitely recommend this pattern especially as a gift item.

(Note to self: since this is a shorter scarf, it could easily be made into an eternity scarf.)

“The scarf could go on and on and on and on, and it could be the harlot-red banner of shame that wrapped him up and kept him warm when the nights grew lonely and cold.” -- Amy Lane, Knitter in His Natural Habitat
