This is knitting up very quickly.

PATTERN: Easy as can be and well written. I found this a nice easy knit but not boring at all.

YARN: First time knitting with Lopi and enjoy it far more than I thought I might. Plus I’m already thinking of what else I can knit using this yarn. I absolutely love the greys and the white-greys. … another note since washing and blocking: The yarn definitely loosens up and softens after a wash. Not nearly as rough as when I was knitting.

Inspired by jomiel’s colours

NEEDLES: Used my platina needles and they were ideal with the Lopi -- the yarn slipped easily so it worked up quickly and without effort.

Used this simple stretchy bind off and it has a lovely neat finish for this type of shawl.

GENERAL: I wish I had used a dark grey at the top instead of the purple but still happy with the second colour (orchid) before the 2 greys. I’m going to make another at some point but it will be all greys and a white.

I really like the end result.
