So far, this project has been absolutely perfect for the length of the Zauberball color repeats.

I’m not sure what I did different, but my lace section is lying at a diagonal which is not how the pattern page photos look…

I’m knitting the medium size but in section 4 I’m knitting the lace pattern 19 times rather than 38 times.

I repeated each section 2 times completely (as noted above I only knit 19 repeats of Section 4 rather than 38). Then I knit Section 1 9 more times (18 rows).

I seamed it together with the Kitchener stitch.

Measurements:
14 inches wide
26 inches long (13 inches after seaming together)
