Really love this pattern. Easy to memorize and - for a long scarf - this one takes no time at all to knit up.

CO 45 but modified the pattern to give a neater edge on both sides of the scarf:
Row 1 (and all RS rows): (k4, yo, k1, yo, k4, DD) 3x, k4, yo, k1, yo, k2, K2tog (47 sts)
Row 2 (and all WS rows): purl to last 2 sts, p2togtbl

Knit 40gm for each half. Left live stitches on a stitch holder to kitchener together with the second section.

Meaurements after blocking:
72 inches long
6 inches wide

Steam blocked to open up the pattern - worked perfectly.
