I was looking in my wardrobe and found something which I never wear anymore, but it was just too pretty to throw away. And then I remembered the paisleys I had made and joined with Solomon’s knot….

I have hand stitched all the paisleys to the blouse. I made a new button and also had to make a few more small paisleys and other filler motifs. Because of a shoulder problem I did not want to crochet too much - so I decided to do it with needle lace (buttonhole rings and knotted buttonhole stitch).

I used seed stitch to embellish the top and bind it all together.

At the second picture I am wearing this paisley fun top, during my exhibition of the fairytale of the frightened little bird and the dragon. I am telling a part of the fairytale…
