I decided to use the “wrong” side of the pattern as the right side of my shawl since this yarn didn’t look good in reverse stockinette stitch.

Not realizing that most of this shawl would be reverse stockinette stitch, I used a tonal yarn which looks too variegated on the purl side. HOWEVER, the designer has indicated that we can use the wrong side of the pattern as the right side of the shawl. So that’s what I’ll do since this tonal yarn looks much better on the knit side.
