Finished size: 7-1/2” long x 9-1/4” across bottom

To make this pattern fit a woman’s head, I used a bigger hook (I/5.5mm) than called for (H/5mm) and I worked the pattern as follows:
Increase rounds R1-6
Pattern rounds 7 thru 18 rounds
Edging 1 round dc, 1 round sc.
