Notes

24 days to knit.
86” wide x 38” long.
226 rows/626 sts.

Also used 298 Sz 8 Opaque Ceylon White beads #10SB0306 (FusionBeads).

This shawl took way longer than usual for me because the wrong side rows were not just purled. The wrong side stitches were worked as they faced you (knit over knit stitches and purl over purl stitches). And twisted stitches (knit through back loop on the right side) had to also be twisted on the wrong side (purl through back loop). So I had to pay attention to the chart on both the right and wrong side rows, which of course, slowed me down considerably.

I did NOT finish it as per the instructions. I completed row 21 of Chart 4 and did row 22 as I had been doing all the other wrong side rows. I did a normal bind-off because I just couldn’t do the purl welt in a timely manner or correctly. It was taking way too long and was coming out too tight. With 626 stitches to bind off, it would have taken me a week! I think mine looks just fine the way it is.
