Called “Queen of Transylvania” because I set myself the goal of finishing the sweater before the community theater production of “My Fair Lady” (in which I played, among other characters, the Queen of Transylvania) ended its run. Missed my deadline by two weeks (an improvement over my last finish-a-sweater-before-I-finish-the-play project, which ran a month over).

Have wanted to knit this pattern for a long time, and it did not disappoint. Will most definitely be knitting it again.

Added a vikkel braid over the hem and cuffs to mirror the lines on the shoulders. Was not really worth it -- it doesn’t show up much in this yarn.

c/o 260 sts + 5 for steek
knit body in round for 17”
sleeves: c/o 52; increase every 4th round to 86; knit to 17” (note to self: remember that you have tiny T-Rex arms. Knit sleeves to 16”. 16.5” if you must, but no more.)
saddles worked across 45 sts, until 56 rows long
