If I hadn’t grabbed size 7 needles to start this on a plane, I’d be knitting it on size 6 US as pattern suggests. But it’s just me knitting it so gauge not critical. Phew.
However- it cuts the yardage close! On one square I had to borrow a couple of yards from my collection of Noro leftovers from other projects. Isn’t it amazing how you cna mix all the colorways from Noro and not have a faux pas?

Ps normally not a garter-only fan but this may be the most addictive project ever.
