My first knit for the year- taking action. Thrilled that this hat will be in the Womens March in Washington DC even if I can’t be there.

This is a bulky version of the pattern, knit flat.
I cast on 38 stitches and knit 8. inches of ribbing followed by 8.5 inches of stockinette, then finished with ribbing. I used up the whole skein. It’s not as tall a ssome of the hats but the ears are definitely there, and it will be good and warm.
(DC and the Mall in winter is not for the light wool!)
