Notes

Each repeat is 28 stitches (add a ch 3 to turn)
Starting with a chain of 227 (224 + 3) and 2 balls each of:
green apple
amethyst
really red
hyacinth
daffodil
pink ice
magenta
periwinkle
caribbean
lime sherbet

Just shy of 8 rows per ball…by 4-6” of stitches. grr

I find myself counting in the back of my mind while crocheting this, 1-2-3-4, but I don’t count when doing the peak or valley. Guess its just kind of a little jig or shake your booty thing, then back to the 1-2-3-4.

As written by BayouGramma:

Another trick to this pattern is the rhythm - the dance! Each row starts with the V - the 2 US dc…so here we go…

1 & 2….1 2 3 4…1 & 2 decrease…1 2 3 4…1 & 2 and 1 & 2 increase…1 2 3 4…1 & 2 decrease…..

…and so it goes to the end with a final 1 & 2

About 3/4 done with thus…..it’s big and beautiful. Have realized that I won’t have enough yarn for a nice big border, but I’ll have enough scraps for a cushion..so yay for that!

DONE! New Years Eve! 124 rows….that’s almost 28,000 stitches?!!
