Mods: Picot cast-on rather than first two rows in stockinette

I tried the sock on after 4 decreases into the Stockinette section and decided that I would prefer the sock to end just under my knee rather than going for the full 20”, so the other 9 repeats will be every 1/3”, work ‘til it’s 15.5”, then do the heel flap for 2 3/4” to fit my foot. 9” foot before toe.

I put down the pair for awhile and in coming back to make sock #2, I realized that I had picked up one stitch for each slipped edge stitch on the heel flap after the heel turn. That doesn’t work for plain stockinette heels, which this is. At least I realized it now so I can frog back to the heel and re-do the foot!

The original printed pattern got wet so my notes were lost. I thought they were all on Ravelry, but I was wrong. Pick up 3 sts for every 2 heel flap slipped sts and for some reason, do a 72 st foot.
