Notes

I was much younger in my knitting when I decided to make this. It would have been both faster and wiser to do a 1x1 rib and just call it a day, but the double knit that I did means that I have 2 back to back scarfs with no give between them, so do with that what you will.

The finished product is in excess of a foot wide, and the length is about 6 feet, without the 8 inch fringe. When it’s -20 degrees, this is the scarf I wear. It’s like I’m a heat ninja.

The pattern is pretty simple--34 rows MC, 17 rows CC1, 34 Rows CC2, 17 Rows CC1

Over about 41 St.

It shall be warm…
Double Knitting without color work is synonymous with a slow, spiraling insanity. It is incredibly inefficient.

But I will finish this creature. Just 42 rows to go. and blocking and end weaving and fringe.

My fringe is 2 of each wide section and 1 of the small section, in the appropriate order. I think it rounds things out nicely.
