instep:
Row 2:S1, p 9 anticlockwise, turn
Row 3: s1, k9, turn
instep: Repeat rows 2 and 3 7(9) times

Row 1: s1, p9, turn
Row 2, s1, K1, ssk, k2, k2tog, k1, turn
Row 3, s1, p7, turn

pick up and knit into the back of 9 (11) stitches down side of instep and 1 in the gap before the cuff stitches

sole: k5, turn
k2tog (picking 1 st from the right needle), k8, ssk (picking st from the left needle), turn
k10 sts

(put the 10 sts of the front in a safety pin helps while knitting the sole!
divide the 20 sts to the russian grafting in 4 needles also helps!)
