I’ve been laid up resting an injured leg for the last two weeks, the pile of colourful pancakes (or poppadoms) for the blanket is growing!!

Finished blocking the last of the motifs, now sewing up. Changed my mind about hexagonals, they’re squares now with three rows of shaping. The fourth photograph shows one of the corners, the colours of the edging change according to the colours of the spiral nearest to it.

Started work on the edging
20 January 2015
Had to frog the edging, it was curling too much, even blocking wouldn’t be able to sort it out especially as I’m using acrylic yarn. Have redesigned something else.

Edging completed and all ready for blocking tomorrow.
