6-28-15 - Making the best of a bad warp. I originally warped this for a pattern I’d seen on the net, but once I got going, I absolutely HATED it. I used some embroidery floss in this warp, and it was too thin, so the pattern just did not stand out like I had hoped. Rookie mistake. So frustrating.

So I decided instead of frogging it, I would use what I had. I came up with some simple designs that might make the best of it, and I thought I’d have fun with it, too. So I turned it into 3 bookmarks, and different patterns for each.

I tried one pattern that I really liked on paper, but the woven effect wasn’t bold enough, so I scrapped it and moved on. Over all, they aren’t too bad, I’ve given them away to friends, so it was a productive effort!
