No doubt, I was inspired by both the yarn and the pattern. But firstly, it turned out that I couldn’t crochet with this yarn and thus secondly - the final result has no much in common with the mother pattern.
So I cast on 52 st and knitted in garter till the skein was almost over; the last three rows I decreased the number of stitches knitting all of them 2tog. Then sewed both the left stitches and the edges and got the effect of those “bulges”.
