At first I felt that the yarn was way thinner than worsted but it seems to be working out fine on these needles. It is great fun to knit: shiny and pretty. Looks so much better on the needles than on the skein!
The pattern is also easy and quick.
After the first pattern repeat I got worried that my sts would fall off the dpn (Brittany) so I changed to Magic Loop (KnitPro). This is the first time I knit magic loop.

I have half a dozen other projects on needles at the same time: otherwise this would’ve probably taken only a few evenings.

The hat looks lot different after blocking. I actually didn’t really like it before I blocked it :-)

Next time: CO 80 or 72 sts instead of 88.
