8/03/11--Meant for Gabriel, but it knitted up smaller than expected in spite of the Aran weight yarn. I love the Knitting Pure and Simple patterns…so straight-forward and easy to knit!

The yarn, although very lovely in color, was a pain. Splitty and terrible when I had to rip back anything. It looks alright, but is fuzzier than I like in my knits.

Still have the casing to sew in the hood and a drawstring to make.

8/05/11--Done! I like it…

11/16/11--Thought I was done…but it has gone back to Gabriel, as Adrian didn’t like the yarn (“it’s itchy!”) and so I ripped back the sleeves and lengthened them. Gabriel likes it.
