I know that I knit tight, and comments on this pattern have warned that it knits small. So I did a size 8 for my skinny just-turned-five year old boy, (did the length and sleeves for the size 6) and it just fits him. I mean, the chest was at 25” before blocking, and I blocked it to 26”. Whew! I also cast on an additional 4 stitches under each arm, since comments said the sleeves were narrow, and dom will wear this over thermal underwear in the winter.

I used the directions for knitting jogless stripes from Techknitter and it worked out well.

I love the heathered Knit Picks…all but the Green Tea Heather, which hardly looks heathered at all.

Easy pattern…just wish the sizing was spot-on! But sixteen days for a pullover isn’t bad, especially since I only knit evenings!
