Just the kind of pattern I love to knit! Top-down, no seaming, worsted weight wool, just enough detail to make it interesting. Very pretty and feminine. I think I will be knitting more of these.

Gemma is 3 1/4 years right now, but she has a funny little pot belly, so I figured the extra width for the 4/5 would keep it from looking tight, but I used the length for the 2/3. Sort of wish I’d made it longer now.

I put buttons every 7 ridges all the way down the front to cover Gemma’s tummy--bought them on Etsy.

Can’t wait to photograph her in it--but it is a Christmas gift, so that will have to wait!
