28/8/2011--I am finally getting the hang of this. It is my first time working with lace, and although that in and of itself isn’t too tricky (unless I try to knit the lace rows with the kids jumping and yelling around me), but I found the way in which the pattern was put on paper difficult to decipher, new at lace as I am. I am worried about the rows coming up where the sleeve and body increases alternate and the lace rows shorten…afraid I’ll muck it up.

5/9/2011--got the body down to the armpits, and now am on the left sleeve! I am not sure I like this way of doing the sleeves before finishing the body…

21/9/11--Both sleeves completed! Oh, happy day…
