Used some of my thicker yarn to make two of these. I love them. The first one is a background of red and the second is a background of white.

I goofed on the first one and crocheted two middle rounds with an H hook which made a 3.5 inch square instead of a 4 in. square. So I added another round to make a 5 in. square. I wanted a large stocking to use on my front door that you could see from the street.

I used the pattern photo to figure out how to sew it together. You just have to match your squares together as shown. The last square is to be eased into the heel. Rather than easing it in, I joined it on three sides and then stitch the last two sides together with single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches in the shape of a heel.

Sorry I don’t have the label for the lime green yarn.
