Isn’t this a great name? Tussy-Mussy! Love the design of this 12 inch square. I’m using acrylic yarns from my stash to try my first one in colors: dark blue, soft pink, red….TBD.
I think a throw using these squares would be so stunning.
I have to read the instructions over and over again before I “get it right”. I have so much trouble reading round instructions that are all grouped together in one paragraph. I had to hand write out several rounds line by line so I wouldn’t get lost trying to read the paragraph.
Update 3-7-13: I’m working on a chart diagram for this pattern. It isn’t finished it is a work in progress. I’m learning how to do them. But I’m stuck on round 4 because my software program doesn’t have a spike SC symbol. Errrr…… I’ll have to use another symbol.I haven’t worked on the diagram and probably won’t get that done as we have a tour trip coming in mid-April.
Update 3-8-13: Frogged round 8 (red) and tried again.
Update 4-5-13: Put aside the acrylic red, pink and blue square and started another trial square in cotton this time in tan, white, green and orange shades. I think this one is going better. Once I master this square I will try to finish the red, pink and blue one.
Update 4-7-13: Finished the cotton yarn square in green, orange, tan and white. I love these colors. This pattern was a challenge for me. Now back to work on the first square in acrylic in pink, red and blue.
Update 4-12-2013: Finally finished T-M No. 1 in two shades of blue, red and pink. Yea!!!!
Update: 6-21-2013 Decided to frame the orange and green design. New Photos under Tussy-Mussy 12” Squares #2.
