I was nearly done with Jared Flood’s Girasole throw when I saw a mistake in the last rows before the edging. With around 700 complicated stitches on the cable and no lifeline, I decided to just rip it all out and use the yarn for this sweater.

6/3/12 a mystery shawl I planned to start turned out to start in 3 weeks, so this was sitting around waiting. Hopefully I will have it finished for fall

August 24th- I have finished the body sans front trim and I have started on the sleeves. I knitted a couple of mystery shawls in between. Hopefully now, I will just continue until I am done with this sweater.. after all it is going to be getting cold soon.

9/9/12 finished it up with a smaller than a ping-pong ball size yarn left over. I really like it, didn’t realize what a pain it would be to do the armhole seams. All in all I’m happy the way it turned out. it is a little too big, I think I will put it in the dryer, But considering I didn’t buy the yarn in one big lot, and it didn’t really match, the sleeves are a shade darker than the body, it will be fine to wear around, and will keep me warm which is the point.
