Jan 11, 2014 - cast on and knitted a few rows.

Jan 13 - knit to row 21

Jan 16 - started over. Nupps and I are not the best of friends, I’ve learned, so now my shawl will have beads. I was making 7-stitch nupps but had trouble picking up all 7 stitches on the return row. Now it looks fabulous with beads. Will have more time to knit this weekend.

Jan 18 - knit to row 100 of first side. So much fun. Just not enough time. Looking good.

Jan 19 - knitted a few hours today. Am now 1/4 through!!

Jan 22 - am now on row 173. It seems to be moving along quickly.

Jan 25 - finished the first half! Lightly blocked and took pictures. Once in the rhythm, this moves along quickly.

Feb 11 - on row 185!!

Feb 12 - finished. Beautiful!

Feb 15 - took pictures with my beautiful helper, Shelby. She died today after a ten-month battle with laryngeal paralysis and cancer. She was with me every stitch of the way.
