I placed 6 button holes on rows 15 and 16 of the pattern.

If I were to knit this again, I’d make the following changes:

1. Slipped stitch selvage on the hood. This would make for a more smooth seam. The texture of the hood is perpendicular to the texture of the body and it makes for some puffiness in the seam.
2. Leave the stitches for the shoulder seams live to graft or three needle bind off.
3. Continue the diapering pattern into the short rows of the hood. It wouldn’t have been that tricky to graft.
