I used way less yarn than called for in the pattern. 3.5 skeins less. It came out to the pattern measurements, so I’m not sure what was going on there.

Dec. 3. Assembly was kind of grueling. Something like 10 hours worth of sewing and seaming. Now I just need to find someone of similar size to my sister to make sure it doesn’t look really wonky on.

Nov 29. Blocking fronts and back. Will seam shoulders and knit collar/button bands as soon as dry. Will block sleeves while doing that work, then finish making it up. Hoping for Wednesday, depends on how fast things dry.

Nov. 28. Have made it to the rib pattern on the right front (finished left front this morning). Took a couple of days off to prepare Thanksgiving and now feel very behind.

Nov 24. Finished the back. Getting kind of tired of this much of this sweater. It’s all sweater all the time.

Nov. 22. Ready to start the armhole shaping on the back. Anticipate finishing the back tomorrow, and maybe starting one of the fronts.

Nov. 21. About 8.5” into the back. Am more than 1/3 done with back (I think, it goes smaller, then bigger, then smaller again).

Nov. 20 Finished second sleeve, started knitting back.

Nov. 19. Five decreases left, then final pair, then bind off of second sleeve. Will finish early tomorrow, then start on another piece.

Nov 17. Finished sleeve one. Started sleeve 2, knit the first 36 rows. Ready to start the chevron of rib.

Nov. 16 (Day 2) First sleeve is 2” shy of beginning of sleeve cap. As sleeves are larger than either front, this gives me hope.

Want to get this done by November 30th. That gives me 15 days to knit it.
