Notes

Inspired by the jumpsuit Sybil wears to dinner in Downton Abbey, this jumpsuit was an adventure in couture handknitting. Designed and knitted as Anzula Luxury Fibers’ showpiece at the 2012 Summer TNNA convention in Columbus, Ohio, this piece is a one-of-a-kind and will not be available as a written pattern. However, I do have plans to write a pattern for a wearable companion piece! UPDATE: Companion piece is now available! It was published in The Unofficial Downton Abbey Knits, and can be found here.

An estimated 400 hours went into the production of this garment. Each round of each pant leg contained over 200 stitches and worked up at 8 rounds to the inch. The piece is completely seamless.

Huge thanks to Emily Brewer of Brewer Studios for the lovely photos!
