I’m knitting this for my wedding on May 17, 2015. I’m planning to knit 2 of them, a medium size and a small size in case I lose more weight between now and then. I’m planning to embellish the dress with tiny silver beads with a coefficient density that gets more intense from the bottom of the work to the top. I’m working right now to find out how many beads per stitch I should work on. I’m thinking about randomizing the bead placement and then multiplying a coefficient based on the section of the dress.

UPDATE: I managed to make one dress so far, but the skirt was scandalously too short (made me think of Pretty Woman). So I’m working on a second version now and it is going really well! I know that there is definitely shapewear in my future.

2nd dress was finished in time for the wedding and it was very glamorous. I ended up added a few inches of length before the increases for the hips so it hit right at the knees for a great pencil skirt look. I also ended up putting in the beads using the Fibonacci sequence for the coefficients and it worked out perfectly. I’m so happy that I decided to go this route for my wedding.
