I fell in love with this when I saw it on the magazine, it didn’t get my attention on the prewiev. Since I don’t come along with merserized cotton, I’m using unmersericed one. This will be a great summer wear.

Intswemodo 8/12!

Aug 14th: This was hiberneting for a while because of KYH-project but I took this back under active knitting this week. Just tried it on and I need to do a little modifications, hence I’m knitting 2cm stockinette in between the waist decreases and the ribbing (my row gauge is a bit off). I’m also going to lengthen the rib a bit, due my gauge issues.

Aug 16th: This is coming along nicely! Just tried it on and it fits wonderfully. I’m going to lengthen it a bit, I’m doing some stockinette after the waist increases before I start the hem. Maybe about 3”.

Aug 19th: I’m just binding off the hem so there’s only the sleeves left! I have lots of yarn left (4 hole skeins and one almost full) so I’m thinking of lengthening the sleeves. But let’s see.

Aug 20th: Decided to do the sleeves as written on the pattern and I’m really happy with the result. I need now only do the i-cord for the neck and buy the hookthing.

August 15th 2012: Yes, it took me TWO YEARS to take pictures of this. And no, there’s no hooks yet but I decided not to put them after all since I don’t know how practical they actually are. I can always put them later if I feel like it. But now this thing will get some wearing!
