This pattern was originally going to be for my husband, who is of course a Firefly fan.

I have never made a hat before nor have I really done any “circular knitting”. I also have never used bulky yarn before, so I decided I would try this pattern with worsted, just to see if I can make a hat. It is coming out way smaller of course, but so far I have learned much and am making progress. If it comes out child size, I already know who it will go to.

The needles I am using were given to me by my good friend and I am happy to finally use them correctly!
