Original pattern calls for Germantown Zephyr, which seems to be a worsted on the thinner side. I am using wool-ease, which is on the heavier side of worsted.

The kneecap shaping came out pretty huge, but hopefully it will work out either with blocking, or seaming, or both. We shall see.

First two photos are just after the knee shaping, and a row or two into the ‘knit 20 rows plain.’

For the 10th row, make holes for rubber directive, I just “knit 10 stitches, yo, k2tog” across, then continued the ribbing pattern on the row after. I came out with 6 holes but was meaning to have 7. I will match the second legging to this, though the next set I do I will make sure I have at least 7 or some odd number.
