When my hubby saw this, his response was, “I need one! Now! Gimme gimme gimme! Make one!! I will wear it EVERYWHERE!!!”

I only gave this pattern 3 stars. I chose the large size, and came out with a hat that was a bit snug in the diameter and way too tall. When the brim was at the level of my hubby’s eyebrows, the hat stood 3 inches taller than the top of his head. I pulled back, started the rim pattern (the part with the bobbles) early, and didn’t do any slip stitches. The ss took away any stretchiness that hat had. So, it’s a great idea of a hat, and if you’re a good crocheter, you can make it work. Not for newbies who don’t know how to alter a pattern.
