I altered the pattern from the original to add k1p1 rib for the sleeve cuffs and the neckline and made my own pattern for the bonnet adding an i-cord flower on each side and an i-cord tie.

I used some leftover pink yarn from another project for the bonnet flowers and contrast stripe and the French knots along the hem.
