Converted the pattern to a rectangle shape by crocheting the same number of pattern repeats in each row, beginning each row with 4 ch, and ending each row with 1 tr. Both the stitch pattern and the yarn were a delight to work with - I love how the stitches look like crocus buds, and this colorway just made me happy every time I sat down to crochet! :)
