Notes

My own original ideas for the warp, weaving, and final sewn design. I included pockets in the seams between the front and side panels, and a draped hood.

Participating in the “Fall Vest or Top Weave-a-long” in the Weaving in the Saori Way forum.

I originally planned to use this warp for Saori-style tea towels but a couple of skipped dents in the reed later I decided it would be better to use it for a top of some sort.

I’m having a GREAT time weaving in this “no rules” way, enjoying making spontaneous decisions as I go.

I was assigned #10 for the final draw.

October 17th, 2013: I wore my tunic to a guild meeting and it received rave reviews. Several of the guild members are interested in learning more about the technique. :-)
