These have shrunk and felted in the machine. Salvageable, but it looks like they will have to be hand washed. >:{

Pooling of colours across the instep is a good reason to use a “Peasant Heel” rather than this traditional gusset and heel flap approach.

These took a long time because I only worked on them while travelling, sitting in waiting rooms, or enduring long meetings.
